FAQs

Airport logistics (Girona / Barcelona)

The tour begins in Girona on 30 June 2026 and finishes in Barcelona on 6 July 2026.

Arrival options:
– Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN) — main international hub
–Girona–Costa Brava Airport (GRO) — smaller, convenient if connections align

Barcelona offers the most flight availability. Girona is closer to the start location.
We recommend arriving at least one day before the tour begins to build your bike and settle in properly.

Departure:
Barcelona (BCN) is the most practical airport for return travel.

Private transfers can be arranged upon request. Both cities are well connected by train and taxi.

Bike rental options

High-performance road bike rental is available for this tour.

Rental bikes include:

– Professional setup and sizing
– Pedals of your choice
– Bottle cages
– Pre-tour mechanical check

If you prefer to bring your own bike, we recommend a well-serviced road bike with appropriate gearing for sustained mountain climbs (compact or semi-compact setup advised).

Mechanical support is available throughout the week.

GPX files

All routes are provided in advance in GPX format.

You will receive:
– Stage-by-stage GPX files
– Elevation profiles
– Distance and climbing details

Our guides lead every ride, but you are fully supported to navigate independently if preferred.

Group size

This is a small-group experience.

We intentionally limit numbers to maintain:
– Safety
– Ride quality
– Personal attention
– Cohesion on the road
– Typical group size: 8–14 riders

This ensures the experience remains premium and performance-focused.

Deposit and cancellation policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.

The remaining balance is due prior to the tour start date (full timeline shared upon booking confirmation).

Given the proximity to the Tour de France Grand Départ, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cycling activities.

Detailed cancellation terms are provided during booking.
